Today was Christian’s first school basketball game. His school has a 5th/6th grade team and Christian made the team as a 5th grader. He has been playing club basketball, but there is something more exciting about playing for your school. He is loving playing on the school team! Of course, having his buddy Walker on the team makes it even better! They are like brothers.
Basketball was my favorite sport, so I am really enjoying his new-found love of the game!
I’m really proud of Christian. He was born in July, and we didn’t hold him back in school, so he is one of the youngest kids in his grade. In spite of that, he has worked on his skills and listened to his coach. Not only has he made the team, but he has been starting in the games.
Victoria was proud of her big brother. She has been looking forward to his first game so she could cheer him on! Karissa got Victoria and her cousins Kaydence cheer outfits. Aren’t they the cutest cheerleaders?!
