Sunrise at the Office

It’s going to be an incredible day! I’m feeling empowered and rejuvenated after my trip to Panama. I have so many incredible things to work on that will add value to my team, my company, and my life.

I like to travel to the East Coast regularly just to have the advantage of returning to Las Vegas with my internal clock set to Eastern Time. I’m at the office early doing some journalling as the sun is rising.

I had an incredible conversation with Dr. Richard Abbey on the Epic Retreat in Panama this past weekend. We discussed how energy isn’t positive or negative, it’s just energy. Perhaps it takes a little ‘energy Kung Fu’ to master and use energy that is considered negative, but if you develop your abilities, you can use all energy to your advantage.

The discussion reminded me of the book by Dr. Benjamin Hardy and Dan Sullivan, The Gap and the Gain. Dr. Hardy talks about how every experience can be a gain. We can go back in time and reframe all of our experiences as gains, even if that gain is just that we learned or grew. I think that is and example of the kind of ‘energy Kung Fu’ Dr. Abbey and I were talking about.

I strive for improvement and gains in my life. At the same time, I’ve reached a point in my life where I’m happy with who I am as a person and where I am in life. That also means that I embrace all the ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ things that brought me here.

I’m embracing this moment and thanking God for His goodness!
