Catching up with the Chesniks

26 Years ago I became friends with Josh. We both served mission’s for our church in Brazil, so we immediately had something in common. Josh was studying at UNLV to become an architect. I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. I admired how he had a party and was sure about it.

Kristin was my sister-in-law’s sister. Her family has been so good to me for many years. They treated me like I was part of their family. I was wondering in my 20s and her parents and family always opened their door to me. Sunday diners, Saturday pizza night, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas we’re all spent with them.

One Halloween when we were all hanging out together, Josh and Kristin hit it off. They were obviously perfect for each other. Their relationship progressed quickly and they were married the next March. Tomorrow will be their 25th Anniversary!

Congratulations, Josh and Kristin! You are a light and an inspiration to me!
